Role Title: Senior Art Director
Overview:
The Senior Art Director at Espacio is a key creative leader responsible for crafting innovative, award-winning work that resonates with Hispanic audiences in the US. This role is ideal for a bilingual, disciplined, inventive, and highly entrepreneurial design-thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about integrating strategy with creative execution. As a Senior Art Director, you will collaborate with a diverse team of designers, writers, developers, and marketers to produce comprehensive marketing programs and assets across all media and contribute to Espacio’s aggressive growth plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Concepting and Design:
- Lead the development and design of creative solutions across all media, with a strong focus on digital marketing and omni-channel campaigns.
- Oversee / execute creative projects, ensuring they align with client objectives and maintain high standards of quality and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with copywriters, brand strategists, developers, and other creatives to ensure cohesive and effective communication strategies.
- Direct photo and video shoots, ensuring all visual assets are on-brand and meet the campaign’s creative vision.
- Stay informed on the latest design trends, technologies, best practices, and cultural insights to keep work fresh and relevant.
- Client and Internal Presentations:
- Present creative concepts and the rationale behind them to clients, effectively communicating how the work will engage Hispanic audiences and meet their strategic goals.
- Manage client expectations and revisions, ensuring a smooth and productive creative process.
- Conduct internal presentations to ensure all team members are aligned on the project’s vision and execution strategy.
- Content Creation and Campaign Management:
- Manage the creation and production of content across various platforms, ensuring consistency and cultural sensitivity in all outputs.
- Develop and oversee large-scale, omni-channel campaigns, from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Ensure all content is delivered on time and within budget, meeting the client’s strategic objectives and maintaining the highest creative standards.
- Espacio’s Marketing and Brand Management
- Contribute and collaborate with our internal team on all things related to expanding our own brand and generating new business for the agency
Objectives:
- Deliver innovative and culturally relevant creative work that engages Hispanic audiences in the US.
- Maintain a high standard of quality across all projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and industry benchmarks.
- Achieve a client satisfaction rate of 90% or higher, based on post-project feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes creative excellence and innovation.
- Be a proactive contributor to Espacio’s growth and evolution.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a design studio or agency environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital marketing work and omni-channel campaigns.
- Skills:
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Apps.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Strong conceptual abilities with a passion for integrating design and strategy.
- Experience in art directing photo and video shoots.
- Knowledge of digital media, marketing, motion graphics, and animation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field is preferred, but not required.
